4.4 | Lesson Planning: Putting It All Together
Often, new teachers – or teachers who are new to lesson planning – have difficulties knowing how much (or how little) to plan, and how much detail they should plan in. You probably will plan lots in the beginning, until you become more confident, and then you will start to plan less, and differently – maybe only your objectives and some activity ideas. This is normal, and you will find a system that suits you as you go forwards.
In this section, you will think of some suitable activities for a learning objective, then you will compare them to some that we made. Finally, you will get a blank lesson plan template to practice writing a lesson plan.
Because this is a short self-study course, we cannot provide feedback or answer any questions about your lesson plans. However, please reach out to Mote Oo if you want to discuss training needs.
